30CrMoV9 steel is an alloy steel formulated for primary forming into wrought products and is widely used in the quenched and tempered condition. This grade is also commonly searched as 31CrMoV9 round bars and 1.8519 round bars, as these are equivalent EN designations for the same material.
30CrMoV9 is the EN chemical designation, and its cited properties are appropriate for applications requiring high strength and durability. It is suitable for manufacturing structural parts of medium and large cross sections with high surface hardness, such as valve and gate valves, cylinders for combustion engines, and superheated steam valves and fittings.
